Etsy FAM Bucks! The How-To's and the Where-To's...

So you've won some FAM Bucks...Congratulations! That means you have some spending power in participating Etsy FAM stores! FAM Bucks are a great way to sample some of our Fabulous handmade items in our Etsy stores. But you must hurry, FAM Bucks codes have expiration dates which will be indicated in the email or convo you received along with your FAM Bucks Codes.

What Are FAM Bucks?

FAM Bucks are prize codes that are dispensed by the Etsy Street Team "FAM" as winning prizes for our contests. Each FAM Bucks code is recorded and verified prior to a sale being processed. There isn't anything tangible to send to you, but you do receive a unique code that is paired with your Etsy username.

How to Use Your FAM Bucks:

Each participating FAM Store has their own monthly limit and policy regarding FAM Bucks. But rest assured, you have a wide variety to choose from when spending your FAM Bucks.

A typical store policy might be something like this: "I accept up to $10 in FAM Bucks per calendar month." And if that store has already accepted their limit for that month, they will provide the date when you should return to spend your FAM Bucks, such as "I will be accepting FAM Bucks again on May 1, 2008. Please come back again!"

Please let the store owner know that you plan to purchase using your FAM Bucks prior to placing your order. FAM Bucks are not legal tender and may not be refunded for cash. All FAM Bucks purchases are considered final unless you have come to some specific agreement with the shop owner where you have made your purchase. FAM Bucks are not applicable toward shipping. FAM Bucks are non-transferrable.

Fabulous Artistic Moms Spring Fling Event! March 10 – March 24, 2008

You know you’re a player! And you’re in luck because we have the game for you! A little Spring Fling Scavenger Hunt promotional game FAM-style, where each of us have hidden a little green frog in one of our Etsy listings, or find the text “famfrog” in the item description. All you need to do is find one of those frogs in five different participating shops, submit your answers to BAMDesigns and you’ll be entered to win one of several FAMtastic prizes! In addition to the FAM Spring Fling Scavenger Hunt, all purchases made through the participating FAM Shops on Etsy (please scroll down for shop links) will automatically be entered in the drawing.

HOW TO PLAY:

Each participating Etsy store has hidden the image of our FAM Frog or the text “famfrogs” in one or more of their listings or listing photos. Find the frog image or text in 5 participating shops and be entered for a chance to win! All purchases made from participating shops during the promotion will also be entered into the drawing.

Send your guesses to: BamDesigns on Etsy and include the following information:

- Your Name
- Your Etsy Username
- The URL to the item where you found the frog!
- You need just one frog from 5 different shops!

Drawing will be held on March 26, 2008. The winners will be notified by convo or email. All entrants agree to have their names announced in the Etsy forums and on blogs.

Huh? What? I don't understand? Confused? Are you an attention seeker? Well, this ? glass necklace will surely be a conversation starter and probably an ender too! People will look at it and ask you "so what does the ? stand for?" What I love about working with these marbles is that it magnifies the image behind it so it REALLY stands out.
