Do you really need more customers?????????

I have been reading a lot of material about home based businesses and customer loyalty. I wanted to let you know I have or will have read "Winning Costumer Loyalty" by Murray Raphel, Neil Raphel, and Janis S. Raye. "The Ebay Millionaire" by Amy Joyner and "Selling for Dummies". What have I learned???? That I have a lot to learn! The biggest thing that is repeated over and over again is customer loyalty. The magic info is the 80/20 formula. 20% of your customers will account for 80% of your over all sales. What does that mean. Take good care of the customers you have. Treat them well and they will spend more money. I will update you as I get further in the books. Have a question post it to me and when I learn it I will pass the knowledge on to you.

Too much fun with cupcakes and turtles

I have been having so much fun with the cupcake goodie bags that i decided to expand it a little by adding a few new cupcake items to the store. What little girl wouldn't want her very own cupcake t-shirt with matching cupcake purse? The little purse is made out of felt and the front has a bow wrapped cupcake appliquéd to the front which has been hand stitched for extra stability. The t-shirt also has a felt cupcake wrapped with a bow which has been appliqued and hand stitched in place. The cupcake will do fine in the washer.



I also added a little extra touch to my Love Turtle T-shirt- a pair of button covered ponytail holders. One is made with the dot material and the other is made using the flower material.

Too much fun for everyone. :o)

BEST FATHER'S DAY PRESENT...or for another's day

Mother's day just passed, Father's day is on its way. It's so easy to buy present for mom, but not for dad. It's easy to find something unusual, cute for women, but we can't find it everyday, everywhere the right present for men. I lived in part of Switzerland where wine and cigar is part of our daily life. We like wine on general, but we love more a special wine on the special occasion especially if the wine came in a very beautiful way (wrapped beautifully), like this one:

Something missing I guess....we need a beautiful accesories for the wine glasses, and my friend, Kelly, has it just what you need...gorgeous wine glasses charms which will make your wine more enjoyable.

Those are just some of her charms collections - flowers, purses and sunglasses. She made those by herself. to check more of her creation, visit her etsy shop. Thankful Thursday - Yes, I'm Thankful

Thursday seems like a great day of the week to reflect on some of the things I can be thankful for. There are many reasons to be thankful, but I'll keep this brief.

My studio. Oh, yes, it's a mess, but I'm thankful for it, and thankful it's only 50 feet from my back door. I'd love to someday have it somewhat tidied for a little photo sharing, but that'll have to wait for another blog post.

My duplex laser printer. I'm so incredibly thankful to have this monster sitting on my desk. I just wish I could figure out how to implement the duplex feature. See? there are some things I can't do.

My FAM Teammates on Etsy. I just can't express in words how thankful I am to have them in my life. Each day I can log on and find a warm and welcoming group of moms to share my day with. You all are the best!

Create your own reversible apron (for little one)

After days of playing with material and persuaded my daughter to agree to be the model, finally, today, I made my create your own reversible apron on my store. I like to do mix and match product, I mean that's what I always do when I helped my husband to create new product for his business. It's been my dream to do something like this....create your own item...

The main idea of this item is that, you choose the fabric and size you like, and I will make it for you. For more personalized touch, that's why I put 7 design of fabric that will be use for the exterior pocket, it used to give a statement of person who wears the apron.

I've been hunted cute children fabric everywhere I go, but until yesterday, it's just sitting in my fabric boxes.I only be able taking picture for girl apron, the boy model (my best friend's son) was not available today, they went on family vacation until sometimes next week. So for the moment, you can only see sample of apron for girl, but I hope, soon, I can be able to submit, also, picture of boy apron.

Remember the old tv series "Little House on The Priarie"? This bag is inspired by the medical case of Dr.Baker. I like a very simple bag, easy to use and most important, the bag which can stay upright itself when I put it on the floor or table, and this is the one. and with the tubular frame, I do not need to bother to open and close any zipper anymore.

I attached a snap hook inside so it will be easier for those who need to look for their key quick and easy.

I named this bag with my mom's name, Fidela. When I show it to her, she loves it so much...she said she always want to have a bag like that...so in the honor of her...this bag is called FIDELA BAG....
